The Challenge

Understanding the problem

Grab & Go's existing site couldn't keep up with their actual sales channels. They sell direct to consumers, through distributors, and to corporate accounts who buy in bulk for staff and tenants. Each of those needs different pricing, shipping, and ordering flows. The old store collapsed all three into one consumer template, leaking distributor margin and forcing corporate buyers into manual emails. They needed a rebuild that respected the brand's loud emergency-red identity and the operational complexity of three customer types.

Before
Our Solution

How we solved it

We rebuilt the storefront on Bun with Next.js, designed three first-class buyer journeys (Shop, Distributors, Corporate), and built a region-aware checkout that handles NZ pricing, currency, and shipping by default with international fallbacks. The brand language is loud and unapologetic — bold red, yellow accents, urgency-coded UI — because pet emergency products are literally about urgency. Distributor and corporate accounts get gated pricing without breaking the consumer flow.

After
Our Approach

Step by step

How we approached this project to deliver exceptional results.

1

Modelled three buyer journeys (consumer, distributor, corporate) as first-class entry points from the navigation

2

Built region detection (NZ default) with currency, pricing, and shipping calculated per market

3

Designed UI around urgency — bold red, yellow accents, strong typography — that suits emergency-preparedness products

4

Implemented gated pricing for distributor accounts without forking the entire catalogue

5

Wired up corporate quote and bulk-order flows that bypass standard checkout when appropriate
