The Challenge

Understanding the problem

Most families know what they should eat, and most are willing to pay for the answer to 'what's for dinner?' to be solved for them. But existing meal-kit services lock you into a closed ingredient supply chain at a steep markup, and recipe apps still leave the actual shopping to you. 8Healthy wanted to remove the planning tax without removing buyer choice — let households eat healthy, stress-free meals without changing their grocery supplier.

Before
Our Solution

How we solved it

We're building 8Healthy as an AI service: input your household, dietary needs, and food preferences; the system generates a weekly meal plan personalised to that profile; then it builds the matching grocery list and orders it through Amazon Fresh. The user never has to decide what to cook OR drive to the supermarket — the planning tax disappears, but the supplier stays the customer's regular grocer. Pre-launch waitlist site live at 8healthy.co.

After
Our Approach

Step by step

How we approached this project to deliver exceptional results.

1

Designed the brand around food photography — restrained, editorial, signalling 'real food' not 'meal-kit Instagram'

2

Built the pre-launch site as a dark, full-bleed waitlist capture — a single number '8' as the visual anchor, calm typography, no false urgency

3

Architected the meal-planning AI around dietary constraints, household composition, and weekly cadence — not single-recipe generation

4

Integrated Amazon's grocery API for one-tap fulfilment — keeping the customer's existing grocer in the loop

5

Designed the post-launch product around weekly cadence, not daily — meal planning is a Sunday-evening ritual, not a daily app open
